A human skull has been confirmed as the remains of Aaron Oakley. Read More
Police say tests have confirmed human remains found in at Lake Hindmarsh in February belong to a man from Rainbow who went missing in the area last year.
Aaron Oakley, 38, went missing in July last year after failing to return from a kayaking trip on the lake.
Local workmen on a property located the skull in a paddock around 800 metres from the lake's edge and police assumed that an animal dragged it from the water.
The skull was sent to a coroner's court in Melbourne and test results confirmed police suspicions.
